steinway i was recently awarded my first commission. it was to photograph and memorialize a 1926 Steinway grand piano for a client who was parting with this family treasure. i attempted to capture the tactile elements of the piano and to show off its years of use and love.
eastern state penitentiary on a recent trip to philadelphia with my wife and friends, we visited the Eastern State Penitentiary museum. this was the world's first true penitentiary, a prison designed to inspire penitence - or true regret - in the heart of criminals. i attemped to capture the essence of this structure through the following photographs.
